Guest Comments from David Rhein, Brookline, MA, USA

Had the vacation of a lifetime here! Tikal, cave-tubing, Che Chem Ha and kayaking the Mopan were all spectacular. Carlos, Gerald, Gonzo & Henri are fantastic tour guides and make the extra effort to make the guests comfortable and keep them informed about the people, birds, animals, plant life and culture of Belize.

David from the Jungle Dome leads great jungle hikes and I am officially declaring him the King of the Kinkajous! I enjoyed watching the young school kids who dropped in to say hello and occasionally sing the Belizean Anthem. After dining here each night I would consider staying here just for the food!

Thanks Karen for your patience with the planning details and to Andy and Tom for being so welcoming.

OH MY GOD! This place was amazing. The Jungle Dome had fantastic accommodations. I enjoyed every part of our room. The activities (horseback riding, kayaking, cave tubing, zip lining, Mayan ruins) were so much fun! It was incredible to do all of these things that we could never do at home. Many thanks to the phenomenal cooks who cooked so may meals.

Finally a HUGE thanks to Andy, Simone, Lucas, Karen, David, Max & Pheobe and finally Daphne & Molly for making my stay here absolutely incredible

This was our first trip to the Jungle Dome and it was really fantastic! The accommodations were very nice and clean ~ more than we could have asked for. We LOVED all of the activities (horseback riding, zip lining, cave tubing, Mayan ruins). Many thanks to the talented cooks for all of our delicious meals!

Finally a big THANK YOU to Karen, Andy, Simone, Phoebe & Max for making our stay the best it could be!

Guest Comments - Sarah and Derek - Upper Bucklebury, England

Sometime in early April, I really don’t know what the date is!

And that surely is the mark of a good holiday! It’s been wonderfully relaxing here ~ our every need taken care of, every wish fulfilled. We’d love to stay longer especially to do the ATM tour but the trips we did take were superb ~ Tikal is absolutely magical and a fantastic contrast to zip lining and cave tubing! The set up and the employees here are excellent and we felt so at home. Not even Derek’s Chicken Pox could spoil it for us! Thank you all very very much for everything!

Stephanie Martins Belize Jungle Dome Comments

Why does a single traveler come to the middle of the Belizean Jungle? I guess the web site lured me in. There was something about that weird-looking dome. Or maybe it was the swimming pool….anyway, I didn’t really know what to expect but I was looking for some new experiences. I got them! I would recommend to everyone reading this to do a cave tubing trip and to climb to the top of a Mayan Temple…or even 4 or 5! Next time I will take the ATM trip now that I know it is not about getting money from a machine!

Special thanks to Karen for her daily juggling acts, carried out with grace and a smile and to Gonzo for sharing a part of his homeland with me. And of course…thanks to Max, goodwill ambassador and all-around happy-go-lucky dog!

Larry, Lori, Ben & Melanie Spiegel from New York, USA

To Our Jungle Dome Family:

Our top favorite things on our family vacation:

1. Belize Zoo (specifically the tamandua)
2. Trip to Guatemala and the Mayan ruins of Tikal
3. Cave Tubing
4. Horseback riding (NOT! Too bumpy and look out for the sticker bush)
5. Max (even though he needs a bath)
6. Phoebe (cleaner than Max but not as good at playing catch)
7. Chico at Banana Bank
8. Very good food and hospitality
9. Accommodating our picky eater children Ben & Melanie
10. All the things we forgot….it was a great vacation!

It is rare, in the travels that I have done, to meet someone (karen) that is so dedicated to making every aspect of a vacation perfect. You have done this. Never in my life have I wanted to stay at the same place when I return, until now

All of you at the Jungle Dome made it very hard to leave. Again, thank you.The jungle dome should be visited by every woman that has a 20year old wanting to come out.
