Intervol Group have a blast in Belize

The Belize Jungle Dome was proud to host the Intervol Group from Rochester, New York. This group made up of Doctors, Nurses and friends has been visiting Belize for many years and has been assisting with local surgeries, donating computer equipment, as well as having a great time exploring the country.

Many of the group are doctors and nurses and they spent a week at the Belmopan Hospital assisting and carrying out surgeries.

Had the vacation of a lifetime here! Tikal, cave-tubing, Che Chem Ha and kayaking the Mopan were all spectacular. Carlos, Gerald, Gonzo & Henri are fantastic tour guides and make the extra effort to make the guests comfortable and keep them informed about the people, birds, animals, plant life and culture of Belize.

David from the Jungle Dome leads great jungle hikes and I am officially declaring him the King of the Kinkajous! I enjoyed watching the young school kids who dropped in to say hello and occasionally sing the Belizean Anthem. After dining here each night I would consider staying here just for the food!

Words are not capable of explaining how wonderful our trip at Belize Jungle Dome has been. All of our guides were amazing and we were in awe of the incredible places we visited and the wildlife we came across.

The staff have also been wonderful and there again, no words can explain how delicious the food is and how fantastic everyone is. We will definitely return again and again. A delightful place with a brilliant staff and memories to last a lifetime.

Dear Jungle Dome

Thanks so much for a great time. Everything was just wonderful. I had so much fun with the activities and the guides were amazing. It is so interesting how laid back and fun everything is. Also the food was fabulous, where was so much of it and it was so good! The people here are very nice and caring. I’ll miss everyone and will certainly try to come back again.
