Belize Trip Review Tracee Beard and Derek, Springfield, Illinois, USA - June 2007

Our first time here in Belize and both my husband and I have enjoyed our days here and we still have many more to come. So far we have experienced so much hospitality here at the Jungle Dome ~ everyone is so kind and friendly. First night in we relaxed by the pool with a yummy dinner and some Belikins ~ such great Belizean beer!

We have done one adventure after the next. First day we did the ATM which was just fantastic ~ an experience everyone should walk away with. Today we drive with Luis to Caracol. Very good tour guide and great conversation. He had so much to say and share. Then we stopped by Rio Frio cave and the pool of waterfalls to swim in. It was all so much fun. Tonight we had our last wonderful meal with the Jungle Dome ~ best food on a vacation.

We will miss the warm service and great food. Tomorrow we do the zip line and cave tubing and then off to the island but wanted to say many thanks to the wonderful stuff at the Jungle Dome. David is very friendly and fun to talk to and all the cooks did an amazing job and thanks to Andy and the others for looking out for us and giving us a wonderful memory of our honeymoon to Belize Jungle Dome

Belize Trip Review - Lismarie and Yamil - Washington DC, USA - May 2007

Hello newcomers ~ welcome back old timers! If you are new, you are in for one of the most memorable stays you may ever experience. If you are returning for a 2nd 3rd or more time, it is because you know how incredible it has been every time!

This was our first time to Belize and I must say May is the month to come. There aren’t a lot of people here so it is like you have Belize all to yourself.

Without a doubt, my favorite thing about the Jungle Dome was the food! I should personally never cook again because it would be embarrassing! The flavour of all the dishes was out of this world. And the fact that the fruit juices served are from the fruits plucked out of the surrounding trees is just unbelievable! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful ~ you couldn’t ask for better service.

Now for the tours ~ we did Barton Creek cave and waterfall, cave tubing and zip line and Black Hole Drop. Black Hole Drop by far was our favourite but be advised ~ unless you are a marathon runner, your physical limits will be challenged. The hike gets pretty tough in a few spots but trust me, the 300 ft drop and the breath-taking view is worth it. Barton Creek cave was awesome and if you are lucky, as we were and the water level is low, you can canoe all the way to the back of the cave. Cave tubing was super relaxing and the zip line was simply awesome. Oh and the waterfalls at Barton Creek ~ GORGEOUS…I heard from the other guests that ATM was unbelievable so we just may be back to do that one!

I hope you have as wonderful a time as we did….good luck on all of your adventures!

Belize Guest comments from Verghese Family, Washington DC, USA - May 2007

To Everyone at the Jungle Dome

Thank you all for making this jungle spot into a place where we could make friends instantly over dinner. We shared our outings with others we met at the Dome and felt we were on vacation with extended family.

From the moment we met David at the airport we felt we had come to a special place and the feeling only grew all the time we were here.

Luis did a great job explaining Mayan culture to us during cave tubing and at Caracol and his knowledge of the botany in Belize was inspirational. I wish I could know so much. The two Henrys did a great kayaking trip with the younger Henry being very patient with a city family!

It has been a pleasure to get to know the other guests and was easy to like people who appreciated Belize and the Jungle Dome as much as we did.

Steve and Jeannine Mcgrath Trip Review from their Belize Vacation - May 2007

We wanted to let you know we had an awesome time at the Jungle Dome! Everything was perfect...the food, the room, the company, the activities. After we did the Belize Black Hole Drop I remember thinking to myself "well that was a blast but I dont know if I would do that hike again right away cause that was a tough hike". Looking back at our pictures this past week I have been thinking "I would do that again in a heartbeat!".

We have been telling everyone about Belize and your place down there!

Thanks again
