Corbyn Cove and Chirya Tapu -Andaman Islands


Locate:
The beach is situated10 km Southeast of Port Blair, Andaman Islands in India.

Touring Season: The most excellent time is from October to May.

The Beach

Corbyn's Cove is the paramount beach within straightforward access of the capital Port Blair in Andaman and Nicobar Island. Corbyn's Cove beach in Andaman and Nicobar is located10 km southeast of Port Blair. Corbyn's Cove beach is a miniature arc of even and squashy white sand supported by extraordinary curtain of palms.

Airlines :
Port Blair is linked to Chennai and Calcutta by Air. Aqua Lines:
Regular passenger ship services are obtainable to Port Blair from Chennai, Calcutta and Vishakhapatnam. There are three to four sailings every month correspondingly from Chennai and Calcutta to Port Blair and vice-versa and from Vishakhapatnam one time in every two months. The voyage takes about three days and ships usually berth at Port Blair for about two days. From here one can reach the precise destination by road or boat.

Snorkeling
The beach offers wholesome of serene and hushed, forest walks and effortless admittance to an inshore reef. The water here is nowhere next to as clear as at some spaces in the archipelago. For Domestic Tourists

Ahead of starting the journey please one must confirm to and fro tickets of Flight or Ship.
Entry Formalities: Farther than the two groups of islands, just the Andaman group is open to tourists. The domestic tourists i.e. Indians Nationals do not necessitate any permit to holiday at Andamans. On the other hand, visiting tribal area of Andaman and Nicobar districts is forbidden. Permits to trip the tribal areas can be approved in exceptional cases only by the Deputy Commissioner, Andamans. District, Port Blair,

Chirya Tapu for Foreign Tourists
Foreign tourists require an individual permit in order to visit the Andaman Islands for a period of 30 days extendable by a further 15 days. This can be achieved from Indian Missions abroad or the immigration authorities in Bombay, Calcutta, Delhi, Chennai or on arrival at Port Blair Airport.

Foreign Nationals are not permitted to visit Nicobar Islands. This permit is applicable for Port Blair Municipal Area; Havelock Islands; Long; Neil Islands; Mayabunder; Diglipur; Rangat for a phase of one month where night halt is allowable. Nevertheless only a day's visit is allowable to places like Jolly Buoy, South Cinque, Red Skin, Moun Hariet and Madhuban. Foreigners having the mandatory permit can hang about over night at the subsequent islands/ places:

• South Andaman
• Middle Andaman and Little Andaman Island (except tribal reserve)
• Neill Island, Havelock Island, Baratang Island, North Passage Islland, Long Island, Diglipur.
• Islands in the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park (excluding Boat, Haboday, Twin, Tarmugli, Malay and Pluto Islands)
