Cheap thrills.

Photographer Maura McEvoy reminds us how to distract ourselves from gloomy news and now-empty wallets.



Take naps. Lots of them.



Skinny dip. Sneak into other people's pools. 
Pack a 6-pack of PBR and head to the river.



Get a hammock. Take even more naps. 



Hang out with your dog.
Dogs know how to relax.




Pack candles, hurricanes, bottle of wine. 
Head to beach. Pretend you're on vacation.
